Query whether Visitors/workers
stickers available for parking at Church Point during the day.
Meeting took place between
representatives of Bayview Residents Association and Presidents of WPCA and
SIRA. As well as car parking and boat parking, dinghy storage was discussed.
Income from car park includes
approximately $80,000 from Pay and Display plus fines and 490 parking
stickers.
Council will return to place surface
on road once road collapse on Scoltalnd
Island has been fixed.
IPART hearing to took place on Monday
28th June 2011 to report to state government on setting jetty
taxes. Jane Jobson and Lesley Stevens represented WPCA.
Two
possible sites for a community garden have been identified. One is adjacent
to Lovett Bay Fire Shed the other across the road from nearby John Bryson & Therese O’Neill’s house.
Commuter
wharf etiquette. Set of procedures to be used by those using the
commuter/boat parking developed by WPCA and SIRA.

Ryan has been unable to confirm this
but will communicate to WPCA committee
when council get back to him.
Michael W to continue to negotiate
with council and report to the committee about car parking and boat parking
plans. He will also ask Council to stagger
car parking and boat parking sticker costs.
Michael Doherty to draft letter from
WPCA to Mark Beharrel to thank him for response to track work concerns
IPART Report due October.
Karen Lambert to obtain map thought
to be with WPCA records showing council owned land where a community garden
could be established. A community garden committee is to be
established at next AGM

Proposal
that McCarrs Creek Road
is closed between dusk and dawn.
56 licensed
commercial fishing boats in Pittwater.
WPCA oppose
any commercial fishing in this area.
Committee
concerned that pedestrian safety at Church Point was not included in this
plan.
Karen
Lambert has volunteered to be the representative for WPCA. If Karen is unable
to attend she should inform committee so it can ensure that another
representative is present.
YHA has
signed and agreement for overseas people to come to the YHA for a two day
volunteer bush regen. There will
be an open day on 4th September.
Pittwater
Council advertise a fridge buy-back scheme but it is not available to off-
shore residents.
WPCA has
concerns about the expectations of ferry tourists in regards to local
facilities and would like to make it clear that there are no toilets, shops
etc. off-shore.
