Ø      Previous Balance: $5,621.67

Ø      Income: 1 membership $20

Ø      Expenses: Registration WPCA Domain name $13.75

Ø      Current balance: $5,627.92

 

Items arising:

Ø      M Wiener has had discussions with Mark Eriksson, Pittwater Co., regarding alcohol consumption at Thomas Stephens Reserve.  The situation is being monitored at present and it is to be hoped that the off-shore community will be able to manage it.

Letter to be written enquiring when the proposal is to be assessed by Council, requesting a status update and mentioning that it is our understanding that behaviour has improved.

Ø      M Wiener to write to George Hammer at Dept of Lands regarding Bennett’s Boatshed.

Ø      J Jobson to liaise with WAG regarding the Licence fee structure.  B Mahler-Mills to send notice through Baysnews enquiring for separate Notices of Valuation.

Ø      Discussion of Church Point PoM.  M Wiener to have meeting with Mark Eriksson re. parking charges.  There is work to be done on the fee structure.  Suggestion of setting up an offshore finance group using local skills to work on funding models. 

Ø      Discussion of pedestrian safety issue at Church Point.  K Lambert to contact Mark Eriksson to request that it be separated from the PoM.  Also contact Transfield to find out costs involved.

Ø      Naming of Espa’s Beach.  M. Doherty to contact Pittwater Users Group to request that it be included as an item on their Agenda and be registered on their list of names to be changed.  Letter to be written to Geographical Names Board and local councillor, Ian White.

Ø      Residents’ details.  M Vaughan & T Mottl have worked together on the list. 

B Mahler-Mills to check with her list of subscribers to BaysNews.

Ø      Public Wharves.  K Lambert to find out schedule of works for Elvina & Morning Bay.  Opinion that the sheds should be re-built in their current style.

Ø      Pittwater Council’s Reference Groups.  P Gleen reported that she was impressed with the workings of the Community, Recreation & Economic Development Group at the last meeting.  Minutes are on Pittwater Co. website.

Ø      Pittwater Council’s Constitutional Reform Advisory Committee’s first meeting on

9 Nov was attended by Joy Nielsen-Purvis.

 

New Business:

Ø      Discussion of the condition of the old house at the end of Morning Bay.  Acts of vandalism have occurred recently.

Ø      Date for the AGM at Elvina Bay Park.  Saturday 27th March 2010 at 11am to be followed by lunch and the WP Rural Fire Service AGM.

Ø      AGM Agenda items.  Purchase of Elliott Traps, WPCA notice board at Church Point, reversing mirror at Cargo Wharf, Church Point & WP green waste collection.

Ø      Decision to issue Baywatch electronically to all residents this year with hard copies to be placed at public wharves.

 

 

There being no further business the meeting closed at 5.35 pm
