ØDiscussion of Pittwater Council’s Budget. Concern raised over lack of allocated funds for the benefit of West Pittwater.J Jobson to draft a letter to Council.
ØDiscussion of safety issue at Church Point.RTA to transfer ownership of the road to Pittwater Council.Decision to write to Minister for Roads, the RTA & Michelle Carter, Safety Officer at Pittwater Council.
ØNaming of Espa’s Beach.M. Doherty to write again to Pittwater Council who are working at present with NSW Maritime on naming sites in Pittwater.
ØRepairs to part of Bona Crescent now completed.M Doherty has written letter of thanks to Les Munn, Pittwater Council.
ØPittwater Council’s Reference Groups - meetings scheduled for August.
ØPittwater Council’s on-site sewage inspections have been given a 90 day extension for the 2008-09 year.Now due end Sept.2009-2010 inspections due end June ‘10.
ØWPCA representatives on the Pittwater Estuary Working Group are Penny Gleen, Alan Yuille and Lisa Atkins.
ØChurch Point parking security discussed.M Adler advised costs to employ a security patrol.M Wiener to discuss further with SIRA.
ØResidents’ moorings update – offers have been sent out to those on the waiting list.

New Business:
ØPittwater User Group.There have been a number of Maritime regulation changes and new safety labels are being issued to replace the old capacity plates.Suggestion that these changes be reviewed by the committee and information on those that impact specifically on our community be provided.
ØLand Tax valuations update.J Jobson advised valuations of MorningBay addresses have now been reduced considerably.
ØSHOROCState of the Environment meeting attended by Tejinder Gill & Alan Yuille as WPCA’s representatives.It was not well-attended but was an attempt at community consultation.Issues that were considered important were discussed and prioritised.Follow up information will be sent out to participants.
ØChange to E86 bus service discussed.Kylie Stackhouse will be circulating a petition.B Mahler-Mills & K Lambert to write to Sydney Buses & Minister for Transport.
ØThere has been a home intrusion in Little Lovett Bay.Community to be advised through BaysNews.
ØElliott Traps for wildlife discussed.P Gleen to investigate and cost the purchase of traps for loan to the community.
ØIndian Mynas at Church Point discussed.K Lambert to contact SIRA to work towards an eradication programme.
ØPittwater Council’s Constitutional Reform Advisory Committee.Joy Purvis has been accepted as a member.
ØConcern was expressed for safety of Primary School children walking between Newport ferry wharf & school.B Mahler-Mills advised that David James, Ian White & Michelle Carter, Safety Officer, have been contacted.
ØThe new POD is being printed but, unfortunately, does not include WPCA’s new Emergency Medivac flyer.General procedural advice has been included for the off-shore community.
ØCar Parking fees at Church Point have increased considerably.E Dusseldorp to write to Pittwater Council.
