1. Confirmation of minutes of previous meeting
The minutes of the meeting of 20 June 2007 were accepted as a true record (proposer: B Anderson, seconder: M Adler).
2. Correspondence In:
2(a) E-mail from C Kubany CPRA responding to SIRA option to CP Plan. To be discussed under Church Point Plan of Management.
2(b) Letter from N Stevens, Pittwater Council re Bus Forum.
Action: B Mahler-Mills to publicise the transport survey through Baysnews and encourage all residents to complete the survey.
2(c)) Invitation from Rob Stokes to drinks reception for Community Leaders. B Anderson and T Gill attended the event.
Action: T Gill to invite Rob Stokes to the WPCA Gum Boot Social.
2(d) Invitation to workshop to review Pittwater 21 DCP. M Doherty and K Lambert attended the workshop, which discussed building set-backs, building envelopes and the issue of companion animals. The Council is suggesting changing the companion animals provision from the current one of there being no restriction on the number of dogs to a maximum of 2 per household with no cats, ferrets or rabbits being allowed. The review is on-going and no final decision has been made as yet.
2(f) Notice of Exhibition of NE draft subregional strategy. To be discussed at the next meeting when committee members have had the opportunity to read the proposed strategy.
Action: B Mahler-Mills to publicise the exhibition through Baysnews.
2(g) Correspondence from J Jobson re Council Proposed Wildlife Protection Zones. This item was discussed at some length.
Action: K Lambert and M Vaughn to draft a letter to Council requesting more information on the effects of the Wildlife Protection Zones on Lovett Bay and Morning Bay and the time frame for public consultation.
2(h) Pittwater Public Wharves draft Plan of Management.
Action: M Adler and M Doherty to attend the workshop.

The balance at 23 July 2007 stands at $5862.44.
5. Items arising from Minutes/ Continuing Matters
5(a) Church Point draft Plan of Management. The new SIRA proposal presented at the last community meeting had been well-received. However, there is some disquiet on the part of CPRA over this new plan.
Action: M Wiener and T Gill to meet with Cathy Kubany from CPRA to address concerns raised in correspondence.
B Mahler-Mills to publicise the outcome of the community meeting in Baysnews.
5(b) Bona Crescent. M Doherty contacted Patricia Giles regarding the worsening condition of the track after the recent heavy rain. She has referred it back to Colin Matheson. M Doherty has organised a petition from local residents, which will be submitted to Council.
Action: B Mahler-Mills to circulate the petition in Baysnews.
5(c)) Offshore recycling. Council are unable to proceed with complaints about recycling being mixed in with the general rubbish without first-hand accounts.
Action: B Mahler-Mills to encourage residents (through Baysnews) to report any eye-witness accounts of contractors throwing recycling in with general rubbish.
