5(a) Church Point Masterplan
At a meeting held on 13 June, it was suggested that improvements to Church Point should not be funded solely by off-shore residents but be shared by the on-shore community. The next Design Group meeting would be held in a month’s time, after which another community meeting would be held to discuss the issue of how much these improvements would cost and how they would be funded.
5(b) Medivac Protocol
M Doherty reported on on-going efforts to finalise a protocol for medical emergencies.
Action: M Doherty and B Anderson to clarify the procedure with the West Pittwater and ScotlandIsland RFS. M Doherty to draft a letter to the Ambulance Service ensuring they are aware that, in the case of a medical emergency, if the Water Police are not available, the water taxi would be able to bring them off-shore.

5(e) Letter to Real Estate Agents
The amendment to the DCP: Companion Animals has been deferred awaiting further input from residents.

Pittwater Council have asked that any members of the off-shore community who have witnessed recycling being dumped into the general rubbish by the waste contractors contact them directly as they are unable to proceed without specific eye-witness accounts.

5(g) Green Waste
The result of a survey carried out by the Council was presented to the meeting. M Vaughn contact Council to follow-up on this survey and was informed that the Council had no plans to institute a green waste collection for the off-shore communities. This was primarily due to the difficulties of having suitable collection points that were equitable for all residents and would not create problems for the waterways.
6. New Business
6(a) Purchase of defibrillator for Off-shore community
This issue had been raised by a member of the community and was presently being discussed by the WP RFS. Difficulties arose as to where a defibrillator would be situated which would be accessible to all members of the community in the event of an emergency.
Action: Deferred awaiting RFS decision.
6(b)Incorporation of WPCA
Deferred to next meeting.
6(c) Report on Pittwater Users Group
The representative reported that the whole of Pittwater would soon be a no-wash zone, up to a line between MackeralBeach and Observation Point, due to concerns about the amount of wash caused by speeding boats. NSW Maritime also requested that the community reports any maritime issues of concern (such as speeding boats, floating logs, etc) to them on 13 12 56.
6(d) Change of postcode for MorningBay
This approved change still has not occurred in practice. It was felt that part of the problem was that the official name of MorningBay which was approved in 1984, was still not in use by Council. They were still using the old name of Towler's Bay.
Action: M Doherty to draft a letter to Pittwater Council to ensure they are aware of the official name of the Bay.
